PDI for our East building unit was last week. The common areas weren't quite finished but the unit itself was complete and was ready to live in (our sign-off is in about a month). Was told that some of the lower floor units were already signed off. Here are some pics from last week:

Colonnade extended out to its final position on the southwest corner of Sumach and Dundas. And white balcony guards, and white painting of balcony bottoms and sky arches virtually complete (apart from #2905).

Colonnade roofing work...seemed to be staining it then adding a sheath perhaps prior to final covering?

Grey, transparent, and minimalist from one end to the other. It's an improvement over what was but bleak and soul destroying at the same time. These neighbourhoods are screaming out for earth tones, texture, embellishment, warmth, layering, and a break from the sterile monotony of it all. If all of Toronto looked like this there's no way in hell I'd stay.

Would it be out of place for me to say that this building looks far better than that other project of beige repute they where working on down by the Harbour?
