He could have at least mentioned if he's still retained by Vandyk to complete the project through on site inspections. He would know if the project is stopped or being sold to another builder.

Pretty sad that all that installed material is being unnecessarily exposed to weather and elements. Wouldn't want to have a unit in any of those buildings that are sitting exposed like that. Wonder how that could effect warranty with Tarion. Should reach out and send photo to Tarion and ask that question. Most materials are not designed to be exposed for long period of times, especially with no-one maintaining or cleaning the effected materials. It's a shame and waste of money. Bad practice by the builder.

It's worthwhile asking them to document your complaints about materials being exposed long term, especially if you have a unit in one of the abandoned blocks started. This will allow you to add a note on your PDI (if we ever get there) for future issues or failures due to the long term exposure. Be animate with Tarion that you want it in your file under your Tarion number. They are obliged to do so.

My unit is over the Garage.. so maybe someone else in this thread! someone in another thread on NEXTDOOR mentioned people are currently closing on the Queenway project right now. and maybe Vandyk has cash flow issue and are waiting to use the proceed from Queensway on Uptowns..
