Absolutely. The slope of the entire dog park is directed toward the storm water pond as well.

Yup that’s basically what they do. Nice design for the park i dig itReckon they give it a power brush once or twice a year. There would be significant drainage ability under a public dog turf as well.
Does anyone know what SAIT's expansion plans are?
I don’t know, they have a boatload of money to spend now so hopefully it goes forward.Campus Centre Redevelopment project
SAIT is in the initial phase of a multi-year project to redevelop Campus Centre. Effective Aug. 1 2022, the building is partially closed for construction activities.www.sait.ca
For now it is a demolish and wait situation. They are building a tent in the meantime.

I fully expect the tent to still exist in 20 years.
Unless I missed the announcement they have the money from SAITSA (which has yet to come to an agreement with SAIT) and that’s it. Funding information and more than a vague vision for the new building is decidedly absent.I don’t know, they have a boatload of money to spend now so hopefully it goes forward.
This site will probably try to be something similar to West District or U/DNot sure where this would even fit but there's an open house coming up for landfill reclamation at the private Ecco site down near Quarry Park...

Can you build on landfill sites? Maybe a solar farm or a park/golfcourse?This site will probably try to be something similar to West District or U/D
