Guess we know why that one on the corner disappeared.
Maybe I'm turning in to a nimby but 18 storeys seems tall for that corner. I can see 18 storeys at the next lot over where the COOP proposal is, but this one would be better suited with 6-11 storeys. Just my two cents.

Weadickville site officially confirmed
The two parcels bought from the Stampede are on the north and south sides of 14th Ave West of Stampede Trail. The other two available to CSEC are the NE corner lot of Scotia Place, and the parking lot south of Scotia Place (Saddledome lot A).
Weadickville's a good spot for a hotel, being right on the LRT and entering into 17th ave. A few more developments in the 4 blocks west of Macleod along 17th and the area could really turn around. Opening the Stampede to 17th was a game changer and It's not a matter of if the area improves, but how long.

Haven't heard anything, but it'll great having another grocer in the Beltline area.

I've heard Sunterra is in trouble, so something in the east Beltline would be good as the Sunterra might close.

The space under Two Park Central would be a great spot for a grocery store. But yeah also the Sunterra location would be good too.

Sunterra is under bankruptcy protection right now. I think... they will keep operating and just shed some unprofitable businesses and former bond holders will own it going forward.

Great news about another grocer. Wouldn’t be two park central as there’s already a coffee shop and burger place taking up space there, only one small unit remaining.

I saw a big crew of people on the site a block north of the new arena along stampede trail and 11th ave. When I went back the crew was gone but most of the equipment was still there. Would love to see a grocery store and another gym here - the GoodLife on 17th ave is getting way too busy.

Can't beat the Beltline - has just become an automated engine of urban growth. Amazing how far it's come since one of the first modern "urban" grocery store projects back in the early 2000s with CO-OP Midtown.
