And the service has only gotten worse...
if anything blame the demographics. most people who live on the 82 route are rich people with their own cars. the students (including myself) who used to take this route are all grown up and have either
moved out or drive their own cars. its a shame that our infrastructure here encourages more driving than actually riding.

Let's put this thread ,that has been dead since before half the users on UT were born, to good use. And let's discuss the service changes for next week,

Also, Major Mackenzie West terminal will be fully opening, served by routes 20, 720,760,4 and Go. Just in time for Wonderland, it will certainly be packed.

The most significant difference in terms of frequency is the 129A I believe, going from 18 minutes to 13 minutes afternoon peak.

Let's put this thread ,that has been dead since before half the users on UT were born, to good use.
Most internet forums are full of young people, but I'm pretty sure the average UTer is a cynical, grumpy upper-middle age male who retired early to spend more time with their strongly-held opinions.

@Haydenpoon a 'like' for your keeping us updated........but an absolute  for what can only be described as an abysmal service plan that continues to be laughable bad and lack any ambition whatsoever.

72 minute service frequency...... with a straight face...... just wow.

For almost 7 years in almost every single transit initiative, YRT has proposed to increase the frequency of Route 16 - 16th Ave to every 24 minutes or better. I really hope they actually implement the service changes ASAP.

So anyone know when this refurb of the hwy 7 platforms will actually be worked on? its been sitting half done and dormant for a month since they ripped it up.
what a fail once again for GTA public works. of course noone will lose their jobs though or even disciplined for this blunder....

Glad they are extending running times for a whole bunch of routes to 12 AM, but they are killing the 25 by shortening it.

Just need to make sure when they said 12am, it doesn't mean the last southbound trip will arrive it's last stop at 11:01pm and the last northbound trip actually departs at 10:00pm (too early for last trip). Most people are traveling northbound at night.

I saw on the express map there's a McCowan Express but there's no other mention on this - anyone know what kind of route is planned for that?
