Smith is proving to be a huge liability in Calgary, Take Back Alberta is going to be very sorry they put her in charge.

Interesting that this well regarded pollster has UCP comfortably out in front of the NDP with model showing a comfortable majority and a decent size win in Calgary.

"Today, Brown’s results midway through the election campaign show the UCP winning 56 seats and the NDP 31.

“This poll was done for private clients but it leaked on Monday. In the interests of transparency, I agreed to talk to you,” Brown said in an interview.

She has Danielle Smith’s party leading provincewide with 51 per cent support. Rachel Notley’s NDP has 40 per cent.

Brown cautions that this is a result from her model, not a prediction.

But she has been bang-on before, most recently in the 2019 election."

Debate is this week!

This a quite a strange election for Alberta. We don't see too many actually competitive two-way left vs. right races (with no vote splitting left or right). 1993 is the only one I can remember. And even that one was still a pretty easy win for Klein.
