What can be done about the returning of expired incumbents!?! Is there any hope for developing a system that protects against this? How?

I'm not worried. I doubt Ford has enough #s to create problems even with many voting for Chow. The polling station was packed this morning! There will be a record busting turnout today! And also remember that the Twitter-verse is not reflective of the voting public.

That was me. I'm thinking of the anger and violent words directed at Chow, Ausma Malik, Andray Domise's campaign and others. I worry that there will be more of this after the election, especially if neither Fords are voted in. My concern is that some in "Ford Nation" will feel that they had a...

I wonder if we will see violence, more extreme bigotry and hatred towards the elected members when Doug loses, esp if Rob Ford too. They feel they've been given a voice and will undoubtedly feel that voice has been taken from them

It seems to be Mainstreet . Good news is that Tory still has a 14% lead over Ford in the likely to vote category. Read this: http://www.mainstreettechnologies.ca/tory-38-ford-32-chow-20/

the former Socknacki organizer is saying Ford is last (any remaining undecideds are not considering Ford)

    Rob Ford's Toronto

My guess is Tory 44%, Ford 27%, Chow 25% and other 4%

Apparently, the voters list has been compiled from MPAC, and there are lots of electors that have not made it to the list. I also always get my card, but didn't this time.

Someone from the Ford campaign came to my door two days ago, alleging that someone else in my family had asked for a sign (impossible). She was at least polite about the mistake

High voter turnout yesterday as well! http://www1.toronto.ca/wps/portal/contentonly?vgnextoid=75fc3b1369a19410VgnVCM10000071d60f89RCRD&vgnextchannel=84a7e03bb8d1e310VgnVCM10000071d60f89RCRD

I am eager for another poll to be published, This spectre of Doug being statistically tied with Tory drives me mad. Even if I personally don't trust the results, I hate that this is the public perception

So someone from the Ford campaign just dropped by, asking if someone else in my family had requested a sign. When I insisted that had to be a mistake, she mentioned that lots of people have been playing tricks on them. Still puzzled how they got our name! Ands haha, my cat growled when the...

Doug introduced 4 councillors in Scarborough yesterday as part of the "43 Down" (although he is not officially endorsing anyone, apparently). So I wondered how much airtime this slate has been getting.

Have any of you come across the "43 Down" movement ( to "fordify" city hall). There's a FB page: https://m.facebook.com/43down?__tn__=C

I'm also very disappointed in Olivia's response to this latest debate debacle. I was onside her initial response ( of sticking with this due to the topic) , but am super frustrated that she is turning her response to Tory this morning, and playing into Fords game at several levels (playing off...

Absolutely. I am so sick of watching this happen. October 27th can't come soon enough.
  19. T

    Rob Ford's Toronto

One thing I suspect is true from the Mainstreet Poll is the the Ford crowd has the highest percentage of "least likely to vote" (25%), so that will affect the numbers on the 27th

Did you catch who was polling?
