Anyone got pics of Cathedral Hill's dig before they poured the foundation? I wonder if we could see the outline of the cave or the debris from the collapse

So, I'm going to work the assumption that they didn't actually go the full 500'. The cavern could have ended just prior to where the foundation was built (~500' away).
This shows 500' is right below the Anglican diocese (Roper house) and not the condo. If that's the case, the new condo woudln't have touched the cavern. They also said they think they were still at least 60-70' below the surface (no idea how they would know that!). However....

...when reading the follow-up investigation, it sounds like the cave went under Wellington/Concession. https://lindaseccaspina.wordpress.c...the-cave-at-pooleys-bridge-story-2019-part-2/ When digging up wellington street, they came across a cave. They say it went/headed 'under F P Bronson's house". Here's history on the house including photos such as:

It also hints of another potential cave - but this one on victoria island, which isn't that much further away either. I'll have to research that one another day! *SQUIRREL!*

haha. They would barely make a dent in more comparable cities like Calgary or Edmonton. Now imagine The One or One Young in Ottawa

Love these images offering perspective Harley. They seem barely taller that the Skydome.

Pretty crazy that Lux Place (115m) is about to become Ottawa's second tallest building, and soon after that Marriott Renaissance (118m) will likely be the 2nd tallest for a moment, and right after that Dream (124m) will become the 2nd tallest.

I wonder whether the Granite Curling Club twins (129m) or the Bus Station tower (127m) will be next...
