Yeah, why not. After all, the NDP still runs candidates in Don Valley West. And on notional/traditional grounds, the Cons still have more of a chance in SRP than in Spadina-Fort York.

And hate to say it, but even with a quick-fix post-Bance candidate, the Cons still have second-place potential (if so, most likely over the NDP, given Toronto/Ontario polling)

I doubt it. He's almost certainly a second or third generation Canadian, descended from the early 20th century Jewish immigration to Montreal.

Given that Oliver's nose doesn't look stereotypical, and would easily pass for WASP, then surely the comment was indeed questionable. If the comment was about Robert Bourassa - fair play.
